Breakthrough is back!

Our leadership team is geared up to welcome our full Teaching Fellow cohort on Monday. This will be Breakthrough’s 35th summer of teaching and learning at The Derryfield School, and we can’t wait to kick it off with a theme of World Cup - Celebrating the Champions of the World and Breakthrough! We will cheer 92 Scholars of the bus for the first day of our six-week summer program on Monday, June 22! The day will wrap up with our 5th annual Clap In! Clap Out! Ceremony.

Summer will be packed with:

Creative teaching and learning opportunities in literature, math, science, and writing
Field trips to Boston colleges and museums, Star Island, Rattlesnake Mountain, and New Hampshire colleges
Plus lots of community-building activities and college team spirit!

Join us for the fifth annual ceremony celebrating Breakthrough Scholars! We welcome and “clap in” a new class of 7th graders and celebrate and “clap out” our high school and college graduates.

In partnership with The Derryfield School and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Breakthrough will host an informational session about our 35-year history in Manchester, followed by lunch in the Matarese Dining Commons at The Derryfield School, and tours of Breakthrough’s home at The Derryfield School.
