Dear Breck Mustangs,
What an incredible spring it has been on campus! The Mustang spirit is thriving at Breck, highlighted by our Girls Hockey Team securing another MN Class A State Championship, and student and faculty/staff excitement for spring break.
Beyond the scoreboard and the prospect of time off, our community has been buzzing with activity:

Academic Milestones: Our kindergarteners celebrated 100 days of school, our Advanced Science Research Seminar and TC Science Fairs were successful, and our Middle School History Presentations captivated parents and passing students, faculty, and staff in the MS Commons.

Community Celebrations: Thank you to everyone who attended the Blue & Gold Bash, a truly special community night that raised $585,000 to support everyday programming at Breck. As you know, our alumni remain the backbone of Breck. The alumni contribution this spring has been felt across the school. Whether it was the 28 alumni who shared wisdom at our Career Exploration Fair and the student-led TC Investment Conference, alumni speakers like Madeline (Rubin) Cogan '06 talking to students about how to prepare for the job search, those raising their hands to mentor students for the May Program, or our featured interviewees taking time to talk to us—Curt Langlotz ’77, Henry Sabo ’25, Amy Wendel ’86, and the Wisely Family—we are grateful for all of you!
As we head into spring break and then the final quarter of the 2025-26 school year, I am excited to see alumni in Atlanta (April 26), meet with our alumni awards committees, and start planning for reunions and Homecoming for the 2026-27 school year.
It’s a privilege to talk with you and to share Breck alumni stories, and an even greater privilege to help keep this incredible network of Mustangs connected. I look forward to our paths crossing soon!

Class A Girls Hockey State Champions
On February 21 the Breck Girls Hockey Team lifted the State Championship Trophy once again. The Mustangs are now five time Class A MN State Champions!

Frankenstein
Breck Theater took 1st place at the MSHSL 4A One Act Play subsection in January for their production of FRANKENSTEIN. Come join us for the Middle School production of Guys and Dolls May 8-10.

Claudette Laureano's Retirement Concert

Girls Gymnastics
The Breck Gymnastics team took 3rd place in state for the second year in a row. Led by a strong class of seniors and up and coming gymnasts, the gymstangs impressed all season long!

MN Hockey Day
Breck Boys Hockey played an evening game on January 20 against SPA during this year's MN Hockey Day festivities. They won 10-1. Special thanks to Jon Septer '01 for his support of the boys hockey program.
