Dear Breckenridge Community,
I am so proud to be the new superintendent of Breckenridge Public Schools, and have been thrilled to see students in our buildings and working hard over the last week. We have a lot to be proud of in this district, and I am excited to be part of this process. One thing that I am especially passionate about is providing information about the three-question referendum that will be on the ballot on November 2, 2021. This email is the first in a series of emails that will give a detailed overview of the plans so that all community members can make an informed decision on election day.

Throughout this process, please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any additional questions. I look forward to meeting more of our community members and continuing the process towards a bright future for Breckenridge.

You can contact me at 218-643-6822 or strandb@isd846.org

Referendum Website is Now Live
We had a great turnout at our community engagement meeting on September 13, and I am excited to share a new resource for information regarding the referendum.
The referendum website is live now and features a look at the needs, the plan, the cost, and the process that led to these questions being on the ballot.

There will be more information coming in a variety of ways including mailings, social media, and presentations with building tours. Stay tuned!
