Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2025: A Premier Showcase for the Boating World
Welcome to October, the beginning of Florida’s renowned “In-Season.” As the boating season unfolds, our community comes alive with the return of part-time residents eager to enjoy their waterfront homes and embrace all the beauty and adventure Florida offers by sea.
October also means its Boat Show Season! Every year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) heralds the start of the high season in the yachting and marine industries — and in 2025, it’s setting a new standard. Here’s a snapshot of what to expect (or highlight) in your feature:
Dates & Scale
- FLIBS 2025 runs October 29 – November 2.
- It returns in its 66th edition as the largest in-water boat show in the world.
- Expect over 1,300 boats on display and 1,000+ exhibiting brands across seven distinct show locations.
- The economic impact is projected to exceed USD 1.79 billion.
Venues & Layout
- The show spans seven anchor locations, including Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Broward County Convention Center, Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Marina, 17th Street Yacht Basin, Pier 66, and the Superyacht Village at Pier 66 South.
- Superyacht Village — where the largest, most luxurious vessels are displayed — remains a marquee draw.
- On water, the show expands across six miles of floating docks, offering immersive access for visitors.
Opening Hours & Access
- Opening times are generally 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. across most days, with October 29 (preview day) opening at noon and November 2 wrapping up earlier (around 5–6 p.m.).
- Note: there is no box office on site — all tickets must be purchased digitally in advance.
