Explore art, music and wine at the Brevard 4th Friday Gallery Walk on August 25 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Walk the event or hop on board the Oskar Blues Trolley! The trolley will do stops during the event on West Main Street by Trade-Arama, the Brevard Lumberyard on King Street and the TC Arts Council on Caldwell Street.

The TC Arts Council will host a reception for the 21st National Touring Exhibit "Through the Needle's Eye" presented by The Embroiderer's Guild of America.
 
Number 7 Arts Gallery is featuring five artists for the August Gallery Walk.  Tom Atkins: Photography, Kevin Felderhoff: Wood Turner, Linda and Jerry Hunter: Silversmiths, and Caroline Trickey: Painter.

Red Wolf Gallery will feature the paintings, sculpture, ceramics and jewelry of regional, national and international artists. Enjoy the artwork of gallery owner Ann DerGara.
 
Steve Owen & Associates will feature the artwork of Brevard's 15 year old Alana Merrell.
 
Join Starfangled Press for the opening reception of "Folie à deux" featuring the etchings and lithographs of artist Ali Norman, a current MFA candidate at the University of Georgia.  Meet the artist and enjoy a complimentary Oskar Blues beer tasting + popcorn bar.

Visit The Haen Gallery in the historic Brevard Lumberyard Arts District to see the work of Angelita Surmon along with the work of local, national, and international artists who offer a wide variety of paintings, photography, and sculpture.
 
Gallery at 36 features world-class abstract paintings, sculpture, and pottery of artists Judith Duff, Jerry Domokur, Shozo Michikawa, and Seungho Yang.  

Artists @ Work will be welcoming a new artist to their merry little band of creators! Suzanne Crolley, Egg Tempera and Charcoal painter will have her work on display. Also, they will be having live music by Tom Robert and Rick Dobbins who make up the band Hawk Mountain.
 
Main Street Ltd will host a free wine tasting from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Jessica Guffy from Empire Distributing will be pouring wines from Sean Minor vineyards. Great discounts on wine during Gallery Walk and refreshments will be served.

The Hollingsworth Gallery will feature the Transylvania Art Guild. The colorful show represents a diversity of local artists. You are invited to enjoy wine and cheese while supporting local artists.

Please drop by Local Color and see what is new from the one hundred featured artists and creative geniuses. Dragonfly Gallery will be offering a Champagne Punch and artist meet and greet.  Come and meet Gallery Artist Rebecca Kahrs featuring some of her new works along with Mary Alice Braukman featuring new pieces of her work.
  
Be sure to check out ARTworks artists' personal responses to the universal and age old practice of "Clotheslines" with mix media artist MacKenzie Keenan, painter Deborah Kidwell and woodcarver Chuck Kidwell.  

Trade Arama Art & Vintage Items is an eclectic mix of art and vintage items, including both contemporary and folk art, fine crafts and a blend of mid-century and other furnishings.  

Stop by Gravy, an artisan and retail market benefiting The Cindy Platt Boys and Girls Club.

At the end of Times Arcade Alley near Starfangled Press is the Aura Gallery & Studios along with Be Boutique. They feature local artists Billy Smith, Bonita Shipman, Grey Freeman and guest artists.

For those looking to get their retail shopping on, check out the new D.D. Bullwinkel's Outdoors with a boutique selection of the best products that the outdoor industry has to offer. Next door is Theophilus, featuring art in the form of fashion, gifts and home décor.

Broad Street Wines will have musical entertainment by Mike Sweet and wine tasting with Steve Nelson from Grapevine of NC.
 
Wine Down on Main will feature music throughout the evening as well as a new featured visual artist.
 
The Square Root will host the musical group Carver and Carmody starting at 7 p.m. in the Times Arcade Alley.
 
185 King Street will host Tony Eltora.  He has shared the stage with many national and regional musicians.
 
The Phoenix & the Fox will host the band Back South with Cigar Block Blues Rock from 9:00 p.m. to 12 midnight.
