RALEIGH, N.C. (Jan. 14, 2025) - Brewery Bhavana, the acclaimed brewery and dim sum restaurant based in downtown Raleigh, is set to expand with its first additional location at Cary’s Fenton development. The new venue is expected to open by April.
“Fenton was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up,” said Patrick Woodson, a founder and sole owner of Brewery Bhavana. “Cary has always been an important market for us, and we’re excited to bring our beer and dim sum to a space that embodies the spirit of an outdoor beer garden. We’re aiming for an April opening.”
The new 2,000-square-foot location will seat 46 guests indoors, with a design inspired by the concept of dining inside a greenhouse. A striking, hand-painted Garden of Eden mural will anchor the bar, while the space will be bathed in natural light and adorned with live greenery, including a grid of hanging plants reminiscent of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
Unlike the downtown Raleigh flagship, this suburban location will not feature a bookstore or flower shop. Instead, it will offer a spacious outdoor patio with seating for around 60 guests, adjacent to a large courtyard. Situated at 850 Lower Garden Lane, the new restaurant will be across from the Arhaus furniture store and next to The Allison luxury apartments.
Guests can look forward to Brewery Bhavana’s beloved dim sum menu, as well as popular entrees like General Tso Chicken and Peking Duck. Woodson also plans to offer exclusive dishes with an emphasis on lighter, healthier fare at the Fenton location. Alongside the brewery's award-winning Belgian-inspired beers, wine and cocktails, the Fenton location also will feature draft cocktails, available to enjoy in the Fenton's sip-and-stroll district, and beer coolers, offering a selection of to-go beers, including exclusive, limited-edition brews.
Brewery Bhavana opened in downtown Raleigh in 2017 and Woodson, a co-founder and the brewer, has been the sole owner since May 2023.
