Give Local Campaign is Underway
Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors per year and and is one of the top tourist draws in Thurston County. This warms our hearts, but it also causes a lot of wear and tear.

We need your help in keeping Brewery Park a place we all enjoy! Our park is not a state- or city-funded recreation area. Unlike other parks that receive tax-based funding, we count on donations and grants to fund expenditures such as trail upkeep, grounds maintenance, and major projects like bridge repairs. From November 7-18 we are participating in Give Local, a fundraising campaign for South Sound nonprofits. If you appreciate the park as much as we do, see our Give Local page here.

Below are the specific areas at the park that need some TLC.
Bridge Repairs
As many of you experienced, the iconic lower bridge was closed for most of this past summer for needed maintenance. All bridges are open now, but our last assessment indicated $100,000 worth of repairs that will need to be addressed.

Donate to help us complete those repairs and keep our bridges safe and open.
Trail Maintenance
The trail is the heart of the park!

For everyone to have the best experience, we must diligently maintain the path and plants, keep the garbage cans empty, and the dog-waste-bag dispensers full.

Your donations will go toward this important work and to keeping our cedar railings in top shape this winter.
Picnic Table Upgrades
Now that the rain has come it's time to spruce up our amenities for next year. Our picnic tables have about 38 layers of paint on them (maybe not, but it's a lot), and they have come to the end of their useful lives.

Chip in to help us get new long-lasting metal picnic tables.
More Park Benches
Sometimes it's nice to go on a stroll once or twice around the trail loop, but sometimes it's nice to catch up with a friend next to a cascading waterfall. From our office we often see people (and furry friends) catching up for hours on our benches.

Your generous contributions will allow us to add more places for rest and reflection--what the park was designed for.
