Warm (nearly) winter greetings Brick & Beam Society members, supporters and friends,

Thank you for joining the charge to ensure the future of children in Greater Portland! I'm excited to welcome you and invite you to join United Way of Greater Portland's Brick & Beam Society 5th annual  GIVING FLASH MITTEN MOB  to collect cold weather items for kids in our community to stay warm this season.

While the cold weather brings fun and enjoyment to many, it brings the challenge of getting and keeping warm to others. We want to keep little hands and heads warm this winter so they can get warm and get back to what's important - wintertime enjoyment!

You can find the suggested registry on Amazon at:

Between now and 7:30 PM on Wednesday, December 4, we invite you to gather as many NEW pairs of mittens, gloves, hats, and other winter gear items for children. Donations will go to schools in the Greater Portland area for children who need them the most this winter. Please note hats are especially needed among the elementary school population as they can't be shared!

On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, you can deliver the gear to Machias Savings Bank 193 Middle St., Portland, between noon and 1:00 PM.

Following the Mitten Mob, join us to connect with your fellow community of members! Friends and colleagues are welcome. So bundle up, and we'll see you at Machias Savings Bank and Maine Craft Distillery (123 Washington Ave., Portland) from 5:30 – 7:30 PM.
F riends large and small donating winter goodies.
