Perfect Placement: Life after Bridge Boston

Bridge Boston is proud to educate our scholars from pre-kindergarten all the way through 8th grade, and to support their continuing education beyond our walls. After all, our mission challenges us to empower our scholars to, “achieve their greatest potential in high school and beyond.”

High School, High Stress?

In the spring of their 8th grade year, every Bridge Boston student is faced with a huge decision: where do they go next? Fortunately, at Bridge, we aim to support our scholars not only while they're school, but for their futures ahead of them.

Bridge recognizes that every 8th grade student's needs regarding high school are completely unique. Every Bridge student is assigned a High School Placement Advisor that works with them, their families, and their needs for the foreseeable high school choice process. Managing research, applications, accounts, interviews, financial aid, and more can be extremely overwhelming, and our High School Placement advisors work closely with our students to ensure they find the best fit. Our Advisors are counselors and teachers who have built relationships with our Bridge students over the years: they are invested in our students' success.

Our advisors assist students and their families with every step of the process: from research & school visits, to testing & interview preparation, to the decision & the financial aid application. Our advisors ensure our students are making the best decisions for their future, whether this includes:

  • Charter High Schools
  • Public BPS High Schools (including Pilot Schools and Trade Schools)
  • Private Religious High Schools
  • Private, Independent High Schools
  • Exam Schools

One family told us, "My scholar is getting ready to transition into high school, and I am in awe of how supportive The Bridge Teachers are with my son." In effort to achieve our mission every day, we are focused on family engagement, student support inside and outside the classroom, and our scholar's long-term success.

Currently at School...

Soccer Season has Started: The Bridge Boston Jaguars are 5-1 so far this season! We are so impressed by their incredible performance and sportsmanship on the field, especially through the rain! View the soccer schedule here and the stats here!

Hispanic Heritage Month: BBCS celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th! All around Bridge our educators found creative ways to celebrate the traditions & history of the many Hispanic Heritage people & cultures. We even had a week of Hispanic Heritage inspired meals in our cafeteria!

School Song Singers: Last year, Teacher Holly alongside her 1st grade music class wrote the Bridge Boston School Song. This year, our students are learning and rehearsing. Check out the 3rd graders in Ms. Razzano and Mr. Williams's class!
