THIS WEEK'S MESSAGE

At some point every one of us confronts a series of related questions of enormous consequence: How do I find and fulfill the central purpose of my life? What am I specifically supposed to be doing with my time? How should I go about making potentially life-altering decisions? When I ask God for wisdom or direction, how do I know that it’s actually God speaking and not just wishful thinking on my part? And what if I make the wrong decision?

Join us for this week’s message as we look together at God’s Word and consider these extremely pertinent questions.

This code can be used all over the US, so spread the word to family, friends, and coworkers!

We offer our condolences to loved ones of Laura Rodolari, who passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20. Please keep her family in your prayers.

RSVP today for our next Membership Intro Meeting, “It’s Not For You (It’s for the Community)”, led by Pastor Dan, on Sun., May 4, at 12:15pm, and hear about the meaning of membership at Bridges! This year marks the 85th anniversary of Bridges/FBCLA! As we work on a special way to celebrate this milestone, we need your help. Elementary students! Join us this summer at Kamp Kindle, June 23-27, 2:00-5:15pm daily at Bridges. This awesome week is Bible camp meets special interest camp, offering separate tracks for ages 6-11 (kids entering 1st grade through outgoing 5th graders) in basketball, table tennis, cooking, and “Makers” — a combo of art and woodworking. Students entering 6th grade this fall through outgoing 8th graders are invited to MSM Summer Camp, July 6-11 at Sugar Pine Christian Camp! Register now for a week away to connect with others and grow closer to God. Los Altos Christian School has only a couple of spots left in their Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class for next year! If you know a family who might be interested, please encourage them to sign up for a school tour soon. Bridges is looking for an energetic, ministry-minded person (or people!) who loves young children. Kathy Spillar will be stepping down soon from her various positions, which include Preschool Sunday School Coordinator, as well as Administrative Assistant for both Family Ministries and Missions/Outreach. SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Partner with MUCH Hope this Mother’s Day and bless moms at two local shelters as well as migrant worker moms. Sujana Panthulu is collecting items for gift bags, and we need lots of item donations! Click the button below for the full list of needed items, and bring your donations to church by Sun., May 4. We will then be assembling the gift bags together at Bridges on Sun., May 4, at 12:30pm in the Family Center. To volunteer to help with the gift bags, click the button below.

Join MUCH Hope as they serve local homeless at a shelter in San Jose by providing monthly dinners. Lots of help is needed whether it's for 30 minutes or 2 hours! Volunteer to drop off supplies at Bridges, or help cook in the Bridges kitchen on a designated Sunday. For questions, email sujana.panthulu@gmail.com.
