Speaker: Pastor Steve Durand
Message: Spiritual Gifts for the Common Good
Scripture Focus: Romans 12:1-8; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11

Have you ever noticed how uniquely adapted each animal seems to be to its particular environment and way of life? On land, a duck waddles along ungainly on its webbed feet, while in the water, it glides along smooth as glass. Or a rabbit can run with ease, using great bursts of speed, but you’d be hard-pressed to find one swimming laps.
What's true of animals is also true of Christians. God has not made us all the same. He never intended to. He deliberately planned that there would be differences, variations, and even supernatural capabilities (referred to in the Bible as spiritual gifts) distributed throughout the Body of Christ. So join us for this week’s message as we consider how these unique and divinely-given gifts, when properly discovered and developed, honor God while also bringing everlasting good to the Church and to the entire world.

Our Bridges family prays together virtually on Wednesdays at noon. We'd love to have you join us, even if you can only get away from other things for five minutes. When we come before God's throne of grace to find mercy and help in our time of need, God hears our prayers and always answers. We invite you to join our prayer time HERE on Zoom every Wednesday at noon. The passcode is: Prayer.
If you can't make the noon meeting, a prayer group also meets on Wednesdays at 7:00pm on Zoom. Please use the same Zoom link and passcode as above.
A third prayer group meets in person on Sunday mornings, 8:15-8:45am in Room 116.
