Everyone is welcome to reflect and celebrate with us throughout Easter weekend. On Good Friday, Mar. 29, join us at 5:30pm as we take time to be still and remember Christ’s sacrifice for us. On Easter Sunday, Mar. 31, elementary students through adults will gather in the gym at 9:30am for a joyful time of food and fellowship before our Easter service at 10:45.

The Risen Christ

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the most unique event in the history of the world. It was witnessed by many, passed along through generations, and has stirred hope in the hearts of people for 2000 years. This Easter, we will dive into its uniqueness, significance, and necessity.

LACS is continuing to grow and build enriching programs for their students, and in order to support this vision they will be hosting an online fundraising auction April 8-20! They need the help of our Bridges family and are asking for donations to auction—this could be tickets to a sporting event or performance, a weekend at a time share, a service that people can use, or items that could be auctioned as part of a themed basket. SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

In partnership with Feed My Starving Children and Orchard Valley Christian Church, we will be packing 210,000 meals for hungry children on April 12 & 13 at Bridges. Priority registration is now open! Register early because it fills up fast. Volunteers must be at least 5 years old.

Join MUCH Hope as they serve local homeless at Sunnyvale Homefirst shelter by providing monthly dinners. Guest numbers at the shelter have increased greatly to 150 people, so lots of help is needed whether it's for 30 minutes or 2 hours! Volunteer to drop off supplies at Bridges, or help cook in the Bridges kitchen on a designated Sunday. For questions, contact sujana.panthulu@gmail.com.

Bridges’ Deaconess and Deacon Boards are recruiting volunteers to join in the important mission of hearing the word and doing what it says (James 1:22) along with the combined need for faith and action (James 2:16). Our Deaconesses continually support the Bridges family in ways both seen and behind the scenes, and we hope to grow the Deacon Board to similarly serve and also partner with the Deaconesses on joint projects. Have you been looking for ways to serve with other dedicated people? Whether you’d like to send an encouraging note, visit someone in the hospital, give a ride, or something else that excites you, only sign up when you are available and in areas where you want to contribute. Join us this summer for a short-term mission trip to São Paulo, Brazil, July 18-28! We will be working closely with our long-time mission partners Paulo & Ireni Mota and the organization and staff they oversee (Restoration Ministries) to lead fun Bible programs and activities for children and youth, and to participate in home visitations and prayer outreaches to families in the surrounding favela neighborhoods.
