None of life is meant to be lived alone, which means wherever God calls us, we need a team for support and encouragement. In this final week of our Finding Your Way series, we will study what Scripture requires of a church when it sends a missionary, and by extension, what we all need wherever God may send us.

NEWS AND EVENTS

Our next event will be online via Zoom this Fri., May 9, at 7:00pm. We have a rare opportunity to hear Dr. Hugh Ross—astronomer, pastor, author, and founder of Reasons to Believe—who lays out in easy-to-understand terms a scientific basis for the creation events of Genesis 1 and their order. Gals of all ages are invited to enjoy a time of artistic expression or exploration on Sun., May 18, 4:30- 6:30pm in the Bridges Family Center. Bring your own craft project: knitting, scrapbooking, quilting, jewelry making, card making, painting—whatever you like doing! If you don’t have a craft project, come enjoy the fellowship and be inspired to start a new hobby. Bringing snacks to share is optional. Elementary students! Join us this summer at Kamp Kindle, June 23-27, 2:00-5:15pm daily at Bridges. This awesome week is Bible camp meets special interest camp, offering separate tracks for ages 6-11 (kids entering 1st grade through outgoing 5th graders) in basketball, table tennis, cooking, and “Makers” — a combo of art and woodworking. Students entering 6th grade this fall through outgoing 8th graders are invited to MSM Summer Camp, July 6-11 at Sugar Pine Christian Camp! Register now for a week away to connect with others and grow closer to God. Activities may include ropes course, zip line, outdoor laser tag, fun games and tournaments, archery, pickleball, swimming, and more! For details, click the button below

Los Altos Christian School has only a couple of spots left in their Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class for next year! If you know a family who might be interested, please encourage them to sign up for a school tour soon. Bridges is looking for an energetic, ministry-minded person (or people!) who loves young children. Kathy Spillar will be stepping down soon from her various positions, which include Preschool Sunday School Coordinator, as well as Administrative Assistant for both Family Ministries and Missions/Outreach. SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Join MUCH Hope as they serve local homeless at a shelter in San Jose by providing monthly dinners. Lots of help is needed whether it's for 30 minutes or 2 hours! Volunteer to drop off supplies at Bridges, or help cook in the Bridges kitchen on a designated Sunday. For questions, email sujana.panthulu@gmail.com.
