Salvation Army Holiday Projects
This holiday season, Bridges is once again supporting the Salvation Army in three ways as a church-wide service opportunity: donating gift cards at our Christmas tree in the Worship Center lobby, ringing the red kettle bell, and participating in Adopt-a-Family with our Life Groups. MUCH Hope Thanksgiving Outreach — November 15
| | Partner with MUCH Hope as they host a Thanksgiving meal for the families at the Casitas shelter on November 15. Volunteer to provide a home-made side dish, casserole, or dessert to help make this celebration special. This is a perfect opportunity to practice your favorite holiday recipes ahead of Thanksgiving, or try out a new one! Your contribution will remind these families that they are loved and remembered. Explore Los Altos Christian School at one of their upcoming Open Houses and learn about the different programs they offer. Go on a guided tour of the school: visit classrooms, meet teachers, and ask questions about the educational experience your child would have at LACS.

Night to Shine — February 12, 2027
| | We are excited to again host Night to Shine on Fri., Feb. 12. This prom-style event is an unforgettable worldwide celebration, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. To make this beautiful night happen, we need over 600 volunteers to fill many roles, including buddies for our honored guests, help supporting parents in the parent room, parking and safety teams, decorations, 'glitz and glam', shoe shiners, set up, clean up, and more. | | Join us in Baja, Mexico, as we work once again with Baja Christian Ministries on MLK Weekend, Jan. 14-18, 2027. We will be building one or more houses and conducting outreach events in the Rosarito-Tecate area. Volunteers must be at least 13 years of age to participate in the trip. Contact the church office to learn more or sign up. | | Help Feed Dinner to Local Homeless | | Help MUCH Hope serve local homeless at a shelter in San Jose by providing monthly dinners. Lots of help is needed whether it's for 30 minutes or 2 hours! Volunteer to drop off supplies at Bridges, or help cook in the Bridges kitchen on a designated Sunday.
