of Divinity Seminar 
Biblical Apologetics From a Rabbinic Perspective  
 
On Thursday an on-site all-day seminar was attended by both MIUD students and BFP field team members, and taught by MIUD adjunct professors Dr. Jim Solberg and Dr. Bill Adams.

Friday morning and Saturday afternoon: 
 Field Team Equipping Sessions  
 
At the sessions the Field Team was introduced to the new "Israel Connection" presentations available on RepNet. Designed by Leandre Schoeman, they were presented by her husband, Marnus. Both are former long-term BFP Israel volunteers. Marnus, a pastor at Central Life Church, now serves on the BFP-USA Board.

Left: The group enjoyed the beautiful weather and scenery on the Indian River lagoon, where they saw manatees, dolphins, and many types of birds.

Jan Weir is shown calling a BFP partner to say thank you, and to pray with the partner. Jan, a Key Contact, CHAI member and former Israel volunteer, serves in the BFP-USA office each Thursday as a volunteer, assisting our CHAI Prayer coordinator, Jack Renick.

Donna Cowen (CA) is currently serving long-term as the courier and receptionist at the BFP International Headquarters. She has previously served short-term twice at the Jerusalem Assistance Center.    
 


 

Sarah and Kevin Keparutis (NY) have served for nearly 5 years in the Karmiel Assistance Center. Kevin has been the Home Repair team manager, a floor worker, and delivery driver. Sarah is the Israel Projects/Group and Guest Relations contact in Karmiel. She speaks to groups and individuals visiting the Karmiel facility.

BFP recently fed 22,140 people across Israel, and has helped over 59,447 Jews return to their homeland, Israel. To date, we have repaired 1,224 homes of the needy and elderly, and are currently feeding 400 children in 10 Israeli schools.   BFP also assists numerous victims of war and terror.
