Message from the Superintendent
There is rarely a time when an opportunity presents itself that will have the learning impact equivalent to creating a full-day Kindergarten experience for our students. As an educator, I am excited to work with our dedicated teachers and other educators to build the highest-level foundational school experience for our youngest learners. If the voters approve the funding for additional teaching staff on November 7, 2023, the Kindergarten program will be reimagined to align with best practices in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and our related arts content areas. With this change, we would also realign our schools to be K-3, 4-5, and 6-8, which will allow us to improve the effectiveness of our instruction and extracurricular offerings.
Combined with the renovation of our district facilities approved by the voters in March 2023 and essential program changes to support excellent educational opportunities for all students, this initiative will create generational change for the students and residents of the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.
