At the India Science Fest , members of the international science community convened in Pune to bridge the gap between science and society. Talks, exhibitions, experiments, and hands-on demonstrations explored the world of AI-generated art, autonomous vehicles, brain-controlled helicopters, and more.
In Bangalore, Professor Venkatesh Murthy recently gave a talk to discuss his research team's progress in seeking algorithmic and neural explanations for how animals use the chemical world to guide their behaviors and solve specific olfactory tasks.
Traumalink , a volunteer-based emergency response system providing free care to traffic injury victims in Bangladesh, has grown over the past five years to encompass 545 volunteers who cover 135 kilometers of national highways, treating nearly 2,400 patients involved in over 1,100 crashes.
