Step Right Up to Our
When Azpira Place of Lake Zurich Bistro Culinarian Lori laid out an inviting, build-your-own-smoothie station complete with a colorful array of fruits and veggies, residents lined up in the courtyard to order their own smoothie creations. Filled with vitamins and anti-oxidants, residents also got an immunity boost from these tasty treats!
To celebrate National Dog Day at Azpira Place at Lake Zurich, VIVA! Life Coordinator Kailey brought her pups, Tucker and Wallan, by for a friendly visit. Residents enjoyed playing with, petting and doling out treats for their four-legged guests.
Fearlessly and for the sake of fun, Azpira Place at Lake Zurichleaders took their respective turns in the dunk tank and pie throwing seat as residents tossed water balloons and pies their way. Pie-tossing and balloon dunking has become a traditional way for residents and team member to bond over the silliness. How cool is that?
Helen and Mary are two of Azpira Place at Breton’s most avid gardeners. These garden gals were happy to pick ripe, red tomatoes for the chef. Planting, tending and harvesting the community’s Victory Garden gives residents motivation to go outside, get exercise, socialization and, of course, eat right!
THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT
Azpira Place at Bretonresidents are encouraged to do whatever makes them feel happy and at home. Sometimes it is as simple as brewing your mom’s special sun tea recipe (the secret ingredient is orange spice!) like resident Sharon did one sunny afternoon.
Family is EVERYTHING
Residents are spending quality time with family members during lovely, safe and socially distanced outdoor visits. Schedule a visit today by contacting the concierge at your loved one’s community.
Get out the Pathway Vote!
Pathway to Living is encouraging residents and team members at all communities to register to vote or apply for a mail-in ballot on October 1st, unless, of course, it's already been done!
