A BRIGHT START
Setting the intention for the day by reading and sharing positive quotes helps Aspired Living of Prospect Heights residents start each day with a smile and purpose. Why not give it a try?
Resident Ken’s two-year-old kitty, Buddy, is one of Aspired Living of Westmont’s most popular pets! So, for Buddy’s birthday, the community held a party and served specialty kitty cupcakes with Buddy’s picture!
Cinnamon crumble muffins baking in the oven smells like home! Aspired Living of La Grange residents whipped up a batch of the tasty treats in the“A Knew Day” neighborhood to share with friends and neighbors.
What does that mean for today’s seniors? What does that mean for the older adult who’s interested in having choices, growing each and every day and making every new day an adventure?
As part of the World Tour virtual travel program, Aspired Living of La Grange memory support residents practiced Japanese calligraphy, or artistic writing of the Japanese language, using buddha boards. Lifelong learning and artistic expression come together for residents in this Pathway signature program that is one of many!
Gardener Ken, while watering the plants, spotted the first pumpkin of the season growing beneath the lush, green leaves in Aspired Living of Westmont’s Victory Garden.
“The garden looks wonderful – we miss playing in the dirt with you… keep smiling and remain healthy soaking up the sunshine and eating fresh vegetables!”

CHEERS to the Birthday Girl!
Lorraine enjoyed a sunny, summer afternoon celebrating her birthday with family in Aspired Living of La Grange’s comfy and cozy courtyard.
My Life Story
Aspired Living of Westmont Culinary Host, Mary Simo, presented “My Life Story” to residents as a way for them to get to know her better and inspire others to preserve their life stories in writing.
"Personally, I think we all have a story. And we have a choice daily to pick up a pen and write it! I am very blessed to be able to come to Aspired Living every day and make a difference in our residents' lives."
Residents are spending quality time with family members during lovely, safe and socially distanced outdoor visits. Schedule a visit today by contacting the concierge at your loved one’s community.
