This event aims to grow awareness of, and co-create solutions for, the areas of care and support that need bolstering in our community’s End-of-Life related programs. Kimberly Paul will talk about her personal experiences in EOL care garnered from 17 years as Vice President of Communications and Outreach for Lower Cape Fear Hospice in North Carolina, plus the many stories she’s gathered along the way on her national tour.

We’ll also hear from a panel of Medical and Gerontology Specialists, End-of-Life Doulas, Hospice Providers, as well as leaders from the Funeral/Disposition Industries. A secondary focus will be on illustrating the emergent role that End-of-Life Doulas play in support of all of these fields as they help patients navigate their way from one care team to the next.
