Pack 7 Scouts Bridge to the Next Adventure

This past Saturday, Pack 7 held its Bridging Ceremony, celebrating 22 Arrow of Light Scouts as they took the next step in their Scouting journey by joining troops across the Rose Bowl District. It was inspiring to see each Scout find a troop home and remain committed to continuing their path in Scouting.

Of the 22 Arrow of Light Scouts, 19 bridged to local troops, including Troop 5 (9 Scouts), Troop 7 (4 Scouts), and Troop 55 (6 Scouts).

A special congratulations to David Moore for earning the Den Leader Award, recognizing his dedication and leadership in guiding these Scouts to this important milestone.

Congratulations to all the Scouts and leaders, your commitment keeps the spirit of Scouting strong!

A Meaningful Bridge to the Next Adventure

This past Sunday, Scouts and families from Pack 511 and Troop 511 gathered together to celebrate the Arrow of Light and the bridging of Scouts from the Pack into the Troop.

Surrounded by family, friends, and fellow Scouts, the celebration included great food, desserts, and even delightful singing by the Scouts. The event also embraced the spirit of the Chinese New Year, making the ceremony an especially meaningful and festive occasion for everyone in attendance.

It was a beautiful celebration that honored the achievements of the Scouts and marked the beginning of their next adventure in Scouting.

Honoring Champions of High Adventure

Each year, the High Adventure Team proudly presents the James L. Hawkins’ Grand Ham (High Adventure Maker) Award to two exceptional unit leaders who actively promote and support High Adventure opportunities within their units.

This year’s recipients are John Sandhagen, Troop 402, and Steve Chow, Troop 141—both from the San Gabriel Valley District. Their dedication to creating meaningful outdoor experiences and encouraging Scouts to push their limits through High Adventure activities has made a lasting impact on the youth they serve.

Congratulations to these outstanding unit leaders for their commitment to adventure, leadership, and the continued growth of Scouting.
