Magazine Accepting for Publication Essays by Adult Learners About Civic Participation
raised hands
If an adult learner in one of your programs has a talent for writing and a passion for civic participation, they may want to consider this opportunity. The Change Agent, an adult education magazine for social justice, is accepting essays from adult learners around the theme of "Stand Up and Be Counted!" The essay can focus on voting in the 2020 election, the 2020 Census or other ways to Stand Up and Be Counted.

Each adult learner whose essay is accepted for publication in the magazine will receive a $50 stipend. The deadline to submit is Nov. 1 and the suggested length is between 200 and 800 words.

This one-page flyer includes important submission details.
