Pro-Life Movie
Unplanned extended through April 10

If you have already seen Unplanned, thank you and good job! You helped increase the movie's attendance numbers, earning the movie a second week in Erie.

You have probably been telling everyone about the movie and encouraging them to see it, too. So thank you for that, as well!

If you have not yet seen the movie, we strongly recommend that you do it. It presents a very realistic picture of what goes on inside abortion facilities and, in particular, Planned Parenthood facilities. Yes, there are a few scenes, just a few, that are unsettling, but they are not unbearable by any means. The overall message is very positive and uplifting.

Your attendance will also contribute to the overall success of the movie and help show that the pro-life message is a winner even at the box office.
Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act

On February 5, 2019, Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MD) introduced H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. It would require that a child born alive after a failed abortion receive appropriate treatment and be transferred to a hospital.

After 25 failed attempts by individual Republican House members to bring the bill to the floor for consideration, pro-life members are circulating what is called a "discharge petition" that would force the Democratic House leadership to allow action on the bill.

As of yesterday, 193 House members had signed, including Congressman MIKE KELLY and Congressman GLENN THOMPSON, and two Democrats as well.

Assuming all 197 Republican members sign the measure, a total of 21 Democratic signatures will be needed.
Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting: May 1
Please plan to join us on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 7 to 9 p.m. as we host a Pro-Life Town Hall Meeting at the Bayfront Convention Center!
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation is coming to town to brief the Erie area about the pro-life progress that we are making and also the challenges we face right here in the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

May we ask one more favor? If you would RSVP, we will be better able to estimate in our  press releases how many people will be attending. A higher estimate will help get the attention of our local news media, and news coverage is always a good thing.
