ADHD is often misunderstood, especially in high-performance professions like law. In this program, lawyer-turned-career and ADHD coach Annie Little, JD, PCC of JD Nation will clear up common misconceptions about ADHD in lawyers by breaking down the relevant neuroscience (alongside lots of memes).

You will also learn about the unique challenges ADHD brings to the legal field, namely executive function deficits in everyday tasks like planning, prioritizing, and time management. But it's not just about the struggles. This session also shows how lawyers with ADHD bring unique strengths to legal practice such as hyperfocus, complex pattern recognition, and an enviably strong sense of justice. The program will provide insights on how lawyers can minimize challenges related to ADHD while also leveraging their ADHD strengths.

This program is part of Briefly Focused: Lawyering with ADHD, a series of CLE webinars designed for lawyers with ADHD, those who suspect they may have it, and those who struggle with focus and executive functioning, regardless of diagnosis. Whether you’re navigating the unique challenges of ADHD or simply looking to enhance productivity, this series offers actionable insights to help you thrive as an attorney.

All programs will be recorded and available OnDemand through BHBA+. You will be able to register for the full series, as it becomes available, during registration.
