Thank you for your continued prayers and commitment to the mission and vision of Mariners Christian School.
The MCS School Board met last night to discuss next steps regarding a Summer approval for Phase Two construction. Our Leadership desires to promote healthy stewardship and remains committed to incurring the least amount of debt possible.
Based on our current family pledge count of 55 out of
“100 Pledges Needed,” there is a strong likelihood that our construction date will be delayed until Summer 2020.
During the next two weeks, while the contractor and project manager continue to value engineer the project based on our requests, we encourage you to discuss and pray over God’s leading to become involved in this transformational project.
I am still eager to meet with as many of you as possible, especially given the bonus time we have been given. I am also holding a
Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, April 30th, at 8:15AM, in the Argyros Center for Worship and Performing Arts for you to learn more details about the project, talk about the importance of donorship, and answer any questions you may have.
I am also eager for anyone on my Advancement Team to have that conversation, and/or we encourage you to be a part of what God is doing by setting up your family’s
PLEDGE ONLINE
HERE.
We know God’s timing is always perfect, and we trust in His leading into HIS “Bright Future.” We do not want this update to be discouraging in any way -- HE is doing miraculous things in and through the lives of our students, and HE will continue to do so, regardless of when our Master Campus Plan is completed
We are grateful for each and every pledge we have received to date and pray that God's will would be accomplished as it relates to Bright Future Phase Two construction.
Have a blessed Easter,
Troy Moore
