Greetings!
We know that many of you are looking for answers to serious questions about the transition to Bright MLS.
As we shared with you in yesterday's update , there are changes to the Bright MLS leadership structure. We want to provide a dedicated opportunity for members to learn about this transition and also get answers to their questions directly from Bright representatives.

Together with our neighboring associations in the Greater Northern Virginia region and to accommodate all who are interested, we've invited members of the Bright leadership team to a live-streamed meet-up.

Who :
  • Brian Donnellan, Bright MLS Chief Operations Officer, who will become Interim CEO next month

  • David Howell, McEnearney Associates CTO and Bright MLS Board Member

What : Meet the team who will be leading the transition going forward. Get answers to your Bright transition questions in a dedicated member forum.

When : Friday, Feb. 15, time to be announced early next week.

Recent Bright Updates:

  • Added a new agent production report called “ Agent Awards Report”. It allows agents to use a custom time-period and generate a report with all their production and calculated volume, grouped by property type. Learn more about this report
  • A different disclaimer is now showing on the CMA based on the state of the subscriber’s office.
  • Block and Lot were added to the Agent and Client Full Reports.
  • Directions has been added to the Client Full and Portal displays.
  • Listings associated with inactive offices were not showing in an agent's inventory. These listings are now showing in their inventory. For example, if an agent transferred to a new office and old office was inactive, the listings associated with the old office were not showing previously.
  • Re-calculations of Days on Market for MRIS.com-originated "Contingent No Kick Out" listings to "Pending" status in Bright are currently undergoing quality assurance review, with a goal of releasing by the end of next week.
