Bright Raven East Newsletter Spring 2021

Session V: May 3—June 28 Classes will not be held Monday, May 31 - Memorial Day Session V is extended to Monday, June 28 to allow for this holiday. Session V Pre-Registration Deadline: April 17th—Students spaces are held in their current classes until April 17th. Please submit tuition payment by that date to confirm that your child plans to continue. Open registration for new students and students wishing to change classes begins the week of April 18. You may submit tuition payments online through the customer portal or in person at the gym, whichever is more convenient for you. IMPORTANT: If you are currently in the class, there is no need to request the class. You only need to submit tuition by April 17th to confirm you wish to continue. If you try to request your same class, it may say "waiting" because we are holding the spot for you!

Bright Raven Annual Fun Meet June 26-27 Our very special year end Event! Fun Meet Site Bright Raven's New 2nd Location 62 School Street, Victor, NY 14546 Bright Raven gymnasts in the Mini Olympians, Girls and Boys Gymnastics Classes, Novice Olympians, Bluebirds, Boys Level 2 & 3, Ravens and Pre-Team Classes who are registered for Session V do not want to miss this! Gymnasts in these classes will perform routines that they will be working during Session V. At the end of the “meet” each child will be recognized on the award stand with a certificate, T-Shirt and TROPHY! But you must participate to be awarded a trophy, and you must be registered for Session V to participate. All gymnasts in these classes are encouraged to participate. Watch for more specific Fun Meet information the first week of Session V!

Summer Fun at Bright Raven July 12 – September 3 Registration has begun for our new 8-week schedule of weekly classes and week-long camps offered throughout the summer!  We suggest you take special advantage of our camps, since summer is the only time we are able to offer these types of programs. All Bright Raven Camps offer opportunity for faster success due to more intensive training and they are a lot of fun! Justin Ciccone was selected as one of just six Level 10 Junior Elite Athletes in our Region to comprise the Region VII Elite Team that competed at the Elite Team Cup in Indianapolis in February. At the Team Cup, Justin helped the Men's Region VII team to a 5th place finish and qualified to Vault finals where he placed 7th. Region VII consists of 7 states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and New York. Justin is a Junior at Greece Athena High School.

i Level 10 gymnasts and cousins Liliana Sack and Sydney Sack have qualified to advance to Level 10 USAG Region 6 competition to be held April 24 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Both gymnasts qualified for Regionals by earning high all around scores at the State Championships held at Bright Raven East earlier this month. At Regionals, they will compete with top gymnasts from the New England States in addition to New York. Both girls attend Spencerport High School. Lili is a Junior and Sydney is a Senior.
