Coastal style captures the essence of the beach, no matter the climate or location. Its charm lies in crisp whites, open spaces, seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas, and natural hues and textures.
This style has evolved into a more interpretive look, shaped by the designer or homeowner's vision of bringing the outdoors inside, even if the home isn't near the coast. Coastal colors are inspired by nature, reflecting the tones of sand, clouds, and the sea. Natural materials such as jute, cotton, and limestone contribute to a relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere.

Tropical rugs are inspired by the vibrant colors and lush patterns of the jungle, often featuring bold floral designs, exotic greenery, and bright colors. They can add a fun and playful touch to any room.
Coastal rugs tend to embrace a palette of soft blues, sandy neutrals, and aquas, mirroring the hues of the ocean and sky. Natural fiber rugs like wool or sisal are ideal choices, as they not only mimic the texture of beach sands but also add an organic, earthy element to the space.
If you want to add a bold and playful touch, a tropical rug may be the way to go. But if you prefer a more subtle and soothing look, a coastal rug could be the perfect choice.
