Tucked into the basement of the Baker Community Center is a dedicated space for teens to socialize, to play games and to have fun, but most importantly: to be themselves.
Known as the STC Underground, teens have been flocking to this space since its inception in 2001. With more than 1,400 members and averaging 5,500 visits per year, teens enjoy the variety of programs tailored to their age group.
Join one of the fastest growing sports in the country by playing pickleball in your very own community. With 3.3 million participants nationwide, the St. Charles Park District has also noticed steady growth in its participants over the last 10 years.
With courts at Pottawatomie Community Center and Haines Middle School, plus an outdoor court at Belgian Town Park, there are options to play pick-up pickleball as well as during scheduled open gym times and social nights.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions identified in the governor's Restore Illinois Plan, 2021 rental reservation WILL NOT be held in person. Permit applications will be dated, time stamped and processed in the order received.Applications submitted prior to 8am on Dec. 7 will not be accepted.
