I'm a Bead Loving Tree Hugger that is just a tiny bit Whacky, but I guess that you really wanted to know something more basic right!?

I was born raised and still live in California. Because of my deep love and connection with nature, I got my degree in Environmental Education but instead of teaching, I spend most of my waking hours making Whimsical Wire-Wrapped Creations. Because of the environmentalist in me, my designs are largely inspired by the beauty, shapes, colors and textures found in nature.

Your wrapped wire pieces are so unique. When did you start working with wire? Were you self-taught or did you attend classes? How did you come up with the name for your business?

I started Wire-Wrapping about twenty years ago when I saw a beautiful Dragonfly in a nature magazine that inspired me to try and duplicate it, after many failed attempts with different materials, I eventually ended up with some copper wire and fell in love with the possibilities that it provided. I love your tiaras and magic wands. What inspired you to do a line of such magical pieces? Can you tell us more about them? Do you walk around wearing a tiara whenever possible?

I have always been and still am a believer in all things Fairy Tale. I love the idea of putting a little magic out into the world and making people smile. Magic Wands, Bubble Wands and Tiaras are my way of making that happen. I do occasionally walk around the house with a tiara on my head but ONLY to test them! *wink*

It has been 2 months since fracturing my ankle and it is taking longer than predicted to heal. No need to go into gory details. It is always shocking to learn one is not a Super Hero.

Rumor has it that Harrison Ford aka Hans Solo, recently fractured his ankle on the set of Star Wars over the weekend. Maybe there is a disturbance in the Force effecting ankles.

Meanwhile, still wearing my Darth Vader boot, using Traditional Chinese Medicine, liniments, taking herbs, supplements, laser, and using all alternative methods possible. All listed here.

Under the boot cast, my foot now sports a Bamboo Charcoal support which has taken away most of the pain and swelling. I love this so much it had to be shared with everyone. Harrison if you are reading this please get yourself one of these.
