Hope-Mongering parent/caregiver support sessions

This month:

Dr. Marcie Drury Brown sees it differently

Since 2004, Dr. Marcie Drury Brown has gone by "Dr. Gromit" at camp. She's been taking care of our kids for 20 years, and in that time she's developed a unique approach to care.

Join us as she shares her approach and answers your questions from a different point of view.

Dr. Drury Brown also served on the Board of JDRF for six years in the role of Research Information Volunteer and has a broad understanding of current research, so bring those questions. Plus, like many of our campers, she lives with Celiac and can answer questions about that, too.

April 18 @ 7pm on Zoom

Dr. Drury Brown is a pediatric endocrinologist at Providence, and she was named a "Top Doctor" by Portland Monthly. She also serves on Gales Creek Camp's Board of Directors, providing year-around medical planning and oversight.

Join the conversation April 18 at 7pm!

About Hope-Mongering:

Each month we recruit an array of key voices to host a series of conversations: parents, young adults who grew up with T1D, health coaches, educators, dietitians, T1D doctors and nurses, and of course the GCC summer camp crew. It's a magic formula for conversation on raising a young person with T1D. We'd love for you to join us and add your voice, or just sit back and listen. Feel free to bring topics or questions.
