Youth and Elders Program Feature
 
DPS partners with Bessie's Hope in DPS CareerConnect and in Bessie's Hope School-to-Career Work Force Development Initiative. First, the high school students participate in the Youth and Elders Program.  Students visited Briarwood Health Care Center and Cedars Health Care Center.
Get your school or youth group involved with relationship-building visits with the elders. The youth gain compassion, respect and empathy--a life-long benefit.

KTCL Channel 93.3, is a longtime partner with Bessie's Hope, giving her listeners a life-changing experience. This visit with elders was at Chelsea Place  
This program was designed for corporate, civic, religious groups. Bessie's Hope provides education, training, coordination and facilitation, and activity planning for visits with groups of elders. Corporate Social Responsibility directors, this is an experience that changes lives of all involved.


Bessie's Hope Program Coordinator, Blythe Dollar is at a "placement" visit with volunteer,  Andrea Goth.  They are visiting elders at Greenridge Place.
