Spring this year has shown us many different weather patterns and temperatures so far. Here are some activities and resources to keep children engaged indoors and out!

Have some fun with the windy spring weather with a homemade windsock!
Allow children to make colorful, personalized windsocks for your house or garden
using simple supplies like toilet paper rolls, and tissue paper!

Being home so often can sometimes make focusing on tasks a little difficult.
Help to encourage children to stay on top of their daily reading with this reading
bingo chart. This chart will give them different ways and places to read, adding a little variety to their routines. Together, choose a prize for achieving BINGO!

KIT (Kids Included Together) is launching an at-home helpline for parents and guardians who are waist-deep in the struggles of homeschooling, working from home and other daily tasks. KIT specializes in assistance to those with special needs but is an advocate for all children. Take a look through this resource which includes free helpline assistance to strategize responses to behavioral difficulties.

Johnson’s Farm in Marlton, NJ is planning some virtual farm visits to be aired on Facebook live starting May 20th! These short, fun and informative visits will
take place each week throughout the end of this school year focusing on a
different topic with lots of interesting farming facts and visits with the animals.
If you miss the live experience, each visit will be saved for viewing on their Facebook page. This week the topic is strawberries which are being picked
now all over South Jersey.
Visit their Facebook page for more information.

Please share with us a photo or story
of how you’re enjoying these activities at home.
We’d love to see what you’re up to!
