Put on your lab coats this week and conduct science experiments that use
natural reactions and forces all around us!
Make paintings using sunscreen, have a race with aluminum cans using balloons,
and “blow up” plastic baggies!

This easy experiment uses household items, baking soda, water and vinegar
to create a back yard explosion!

Using dark colored construction paper and sunscreen, children can visibly see how sunscreen protects our skin by creating artwork with sunscreen
and leaving it out in the sun.
Check back to see how the paper reacts to the sun in the areas
where the sunscreen was applied.

Get ready, get set, GO!
Charge up by rubbing an inflated balloon against carpet, your shirt or hair
and hover the balloon next to the aluminum can to watch it roll on!
Please share with us a photo or story
of how you’re enjoying these activities at home.
We’d love to see what you’re up to!
