Bringing STEM to Life in the Mid-Valley

Linn and Benton County educators are invited to join us for our first Lending Library Open House. This will be the first in a series of monthly drop-in events this summer. The Lending Library doors are open to browse the shelves and receive mentorship on entry-level LEGO Spike Prime robotics functions and projects.

Educator Lending Library: Featured Educator


What happens when a teacher incorporates an egg incubator into the classroom? For Heidi Blanchard at Corvallis's Bridges Program, it turned into a 21-day project blending science, animal care, and real-world emotional growth. Her students candled eggs daily, tracked development, and it was the catalyst for one of the most meaningful lessons of the year. No fluff, just real learning.

Regional Education Opportunities

Join the MILL Cooperative

“Where teachers tinker, test, and team up.”


This summer, the Mid-Valley STEM-CTE Hub is piloting our new MILL Cooperative program. Becoming a Co-Op member will give you access to a fully stocked makerspace, networking, mentorship, and skill-building opportunities. The space offers an opportunity for collaboration on projects and curriculum design, the development of open-source teaching materials, and community building.


The MILL is stocked with laser cutters, sewing and embroidery machines, 3D printers, woodworking equipment, screenprinting, a podcast studio, and much more!


Programming is projected to begin in the summer or fall terms. Learn more about the MILL Co-Op on our website.
