Greetings!
With the help of generous donors, we're serving our community outside our walls to help the people and pets who need us most.
Spay and neuter surgeries and vaccines save countless pet lives and protect the health of everyone in our community.
We know sometimes the cost of these services is cost prohibitive, and some community members lack transportation to make it to our clinic.
Our vaccine clinic on May 2 in Bellows Falls reached dozens of pet owners we haven't been able to help before, bringing our services to them.
On May 8 and 11, we booked dozens of free spay/neuter surgeries for cats in TriPark with the help of a generous grant. We learned quickly that this community lives with several community cats, so helping keep the feral population down also meant trapping these community cats. Our team landed with food laden traps and secured several kitties to spay/neuter and return to the community.
In response to a call for help, we did a pop-up vaccine clinic on May 8 at Groundworks and 69A, vaccinating 12 dogs.
This coming Saturday, May 16 from 11am-1pm we're partnering with Windham and Windsor Housing Trust to offer low cost vaccines to dogs and cats for residents of WWHT Brattleboro Rental Properties.
And we're working on even more of these pop-up vaccine clinics in the future.
The gratitude and trust flowing from these efforts is overwhelming, and reminds us that the health of pets in our community takes all of us working together.
We're honored to do our part in helping TriPark residents' cats, community cats, and bringing our services mobile to help people where they are. Animal welfare takes a village, and we're so grateful for the support of our community.
A $50 donation covers the cost to spay/neuter one feral cat.
$40 covers a clinic exam and bloodwork for one dog or cat.
$30 pays for vaccines for two dogs or cats.
We couldn't do anything we do without your generosity. Thank you.
