Bringing the Message of Hope

Dear Ministry Partners,

The majority of people in Nepal follow Hinduism, worshiping many gods and goddesses associated with different aspects of life. For example, Lakshmi is known as the goddess of wealth, Kali represents power, and Saraswati is associated with wisdom. Alongside Hindu practices, there are also followers of Buddhism, as well as atheists and those who identify with other belief systems. Despite this diversity, many people continue searching for lasting peace, assurance, and hope for eternal life.

In many cases, religious practices involve continual offerings and rituals, yet there remains a sense of uncertainty and longing. As a result, many are seeking something more, a God who is personal, loving, and attentive to their needs. There is a growing openness among some to hear about a faith that offers grace, relationship, and lasting hope.

In this environment, the gospel brings a clear and powerful message. Jesus Christ offers the hope of eternal life and a restored relationship with God. Because of this, our team remains committed to sharing the gospel throughout Nepal, reaching people from diverse backgrounds.

There are significant challenges. Government regulations have become more restrictive, and in some areas, there is opposition from religious extremists. There have been instances where believers face harassment, arrest, or even violence. Despite these obstacles, the gospel continues to spread, and lives are being transformed as people come to understand the truth of Christ.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to travel to remote regions. These are difficult and restricted areas, yet doors opened for the gospel to be shared. We are grateful for how God continues to make a way, even in the most challenging places.

Thank you for standing with us in this mission. Your prayers and support are helping bring the message of hope to places where access to the gospel is limited. Because of your partnership, leaders are being equipped, teams are reaching remote areas, and lives are being changed.

We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness. Please continue to pray for open doors, protection, and for many more to come to know Christ. Together, we are seeing the message of hope go further than ever before.

Sincerely,

CCI Nepal National Director

Staff Report

Last month, our staff traveled to western Nepal to teach classes in several locations. We praise the Lord for His provision and for opening the door to begin a new class in midwestern Nepal.

All of them traveled by overnight bus, a journey of nearly 13 hours to reach their destinations. Despite the challenges of the rainy season and difficult travel conditions, it was a privilege to teach God’s Word and serve His people.

There is increasing opposition in some areas, with anti-Christian movements seeking to restrict preaching and teaching. Even so, the Lord has been faithful. He protected our team and allowed the ministry to continue, and we are grateful for His care over all our people this month.

Classes

Praise the Lord! A new class was started in midwestern Nepal.

Below is a photo of a CCI class led by Coordinator P. This group is currently studying Book #9, Church History. These students are faithfully gathering to deepen their understanding of how God has worked through His Church across generations.

Through this course, they are gaining a valuable perspective on the Church's growth, key historical developments, and lessons applicable to their ministries today. Please pray for their continued faithfulness and for God to use this training to strengthen their churches and communities.

Testimony

"I serve as the pastor of a church and was a student for the past two years. It has been a great joy and privilege to be part of this training. I am thankful for the opportunity to study God’s Word in my own location, and even more, to both learn and apply it at the same time.

Through this training, I have grown in my relationship with Christ and in my ministry skills. I am deeply encouraged by the teachers and staff of CCI Nepal. They are relational, supportive, and faithful in their teaching. Their friendship, guidance, and teaching style have had a meaningful impact on my life.

I have been especially blessed by studying Book #7 on Church Management. It has helped me organize and lead our church more effectively in many areas, including weekly fellowship, house fellowships, accounting, leadership, and care of church resources. As we have applied these principles, we have seen growth in both the number of members and spiritual maturity.

I pray that this training will continue to spread to churches throughout Nepal, and that God will continue to bless CCI Nepal."
