On Sunday, November 29, the 9:00 a.m. Chapel service is scheduled to return to live, in-person worship. Due to restriction in the Chapel for appropriate social distance, the 9:00 a.m. service will also take place in the Sanctuary, just as the 10:30 a.m. service. If you are not comfortable worshipping in-person, the service will continue to be broadcast live on the church's YouTube Channel, and will go online to FaceBook just after.
Of course, if the current rising in Covid-19 active cases and deaths continues to rise, this decision will be revisited, if needed, as our utmost priority is the safety of both our congregation and staff members. There will be sanitation measures in place to sanitize the worship area and Narthex restroom between the two worship experiences.
Stewardship 2021
Over the last four Sundays, we have shared a brief stewardship moment during worship. The videos for these are now available on Broadway’s YouTube Channel. Click the image below or here to view these videos:
Remember, there’s still time to submit your pledge card online or send it to the church office!
Brown Food Pantry Needs 2021 Calendars and Planners
Are you receiving more 2021 calendars and planners in the mail than you can use? Please don’t throw them away! Save them for the Brown Food Pantry Christmas openings. We can’t host our usual indoor food pantry Christmas parties in December, but we will distribute these items as part of a holiday goodie bag for each family. Please drop your calendars and planners by the church office or place them on the counter in the Fellowship Hall before December 10. Thank you!
If you are interested in joining us this Saturday, please let us know you are coming by clicking the button below or calling the church office to reserving your spot
Worship Sunday

For one more week, 9:00 Worship will still be prerecorded and premier on Sunday at 9:00 on both Facebook and YouTube. Begining Nov. 29, we will be meeting in person and livestreaming the service.

If you plan to join us in the sanctuary this week for the 10:30 Worship, reserve your space and bring a mask that must be worn by everyone over the age of two.
This service will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

11:30 Roca Eterna is now meeting in person in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings and also livestreamed on Facebook on the Roca Eterna Facebook page.

Broadway United Methodist Women
Invite You To A
NO-BAKE BAKE SALE!
November 2020

For many years, the ladies have cooked, baked, and made craft items for the annual Country Store Luncheon. You can just smell those delicious soups and remember the taste of the wonderful baked goods. This year, with the COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to welcome you to the Fellowship Hall for lunch or to shop in the Country Store.

The needs of the missions we support are urgent and the Country Store Luncheon was our biggest fundraiser. So, we are inviting you to a “No-Bake Bake Sale!”
It’s easy!

Advent Bible Study to begin
on Wednesday,
December 2 at 11:00 a.m.

Please let Pastor Ron or Tami know if you will be attending in person or by zoom. We will be looking at Adam Hamiliton's new book, "Incarnation- Rediscovering The Significance of Christmas." The cost of the book is $12 dollars.

"His parents gave him the name Jesus. But the prophets, the shepherds, the wise men, and the angels addressed him by other names. They called him Lord, Messiah, Savior, Emmanuel, Light of the World, and Word Made Flesh. In Incarnation: Rediscovering the Significance of Christmas, best-selling author Adam Hamilton examines the names of Christ used by the gospel writers, exploring the historical and personal significance of his birth. This Advent season church families will come together to remember what’s important. In the face of uncertainty and conflict, Christians reclaim the Christ child who brings us together, heals our hearts, and calls us to bring light into the darkness. Now more than ever, we invite you to reflect upon the significance of the Christ child for our lives and world today!
Let’s Support Those on the Front Lines

During this unprecedented pandemic, we want to support those in our church family who are providing “essential services,” sometimes at great risk to themselves: healthcare workers, sanitation workers, those in the food industry, civil servants, community leaders, fire, police, ambulance services, National Guard, etc. If you qualify or know of someone, please send the name, occupation, and contact information (including telephone, email, and mailing address) to office@broadwayumc.net.

Also please email the office if you want to be part of the support team by making phone calls, sending cards, providing meals, running errands, etc.
