Broadway UMC seeks Youth Director (part-time) to provide vision and leadership for established program comprised of grades 6 through 12. Candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and spiritual with willingness to grow the program. Candidate must be able to work with parents and volunteers while providing leadership organizing Sunday morning and evening activities, Bible studies, fun activities, mission trips, spiritual retreats, etc. Hours are flexible but include Sunday (a.m. and p.m.). United Methodist background preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Child/Youth Development, Ministry or Counseling with experience leading a successful Youth Program is preferred but will consider 5 years experience leading a successful Youth Program. Holston Annual Conference
Please be in prayer for The Holston Annual Conference, which will be held beginning Sunday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 13 at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. Representatives from all of the United Methodist Churches in our area will be gathering together for business and worship. The theme of this year’s Annual Conference is “Jesus is Good!” Sessions and worship are open to everyone (held in Stuart Auditorium at Lake Junaluska). Can’t make it to “the Lake?” No problem! Rejuvenation Station Anniversary Celebration
This Sunday, June 10, we will be celebrating the 20
th Anniversary of the Rejuvenation Station Contemporary Worship service. A time of recognition will be offered in each of the three services (8:30, 10:00 and 11:15). It seems fitting that the anniversary comes at a time when we are launching new opportunities for worship.
