An enthusiastic crowd turned out to toast Broadway House for Continuing Care and our honorees at this year’s Wine & Spirits night on Oct. 6. The sold-out event recognized the contributions of Board Chair Emeritus Gary Paul Wright and retiree Brigitte King of Medical Records—and raised critical funds to support our mission. Many thanks to our sponsors, attendees, and vendors for making this a night to remember!

Resident President

Meet Henry Mack, President of the Resident Council at Broadway House. Henry was recently honored with a Congressional Recognition Award from New Jersey Congressman Rob Menendez for serving as the liaison between his fellow residents and the Broadway House administrative team.

Join us on World AIDS Day for a discussion on the role of the arts in caring for people with HIV/AIDS. This free event will feature Mixed Media Artist and Therapeutic Art Practitioner Grei Booker—also known as GravyMadeIt—and Actor Christina Jackson, who has appeared in various commercials, as well as series airing on HBO, CBS, NBC, Apple TV+, and Netflix.

Abundant Blessings

New Beginnings Ministry at Hawthorne Gospel Church recently baptized 10 Broadway House residents and two staff members. In the month prior to the ceremony, the church’s ministry team held meaningful conversations with the candidates to fully explain the meaning of baptism. Thank you to Cara and John Erickson, and their fellow ministers, for bringing God’s blessings and love to our Broadway House family.
