Begins Mon. August 10th: Milling and Paving, Parking Changes

Lee St to Quincy St

What to Expect: Major impacts, including parking removal. Similar to other sections, the street will be repaved. Milling will take place, followed one week later by paving. Permanent parking changes will be made during the milling period while cars are off the street.

When: Work will begin Monday, August 10th. No parking signs are posted.

Impacts: Possible travel disruptions and occasional driveway closures during paving. Parking removal, both temporary and permanent.

Upcoming: Flex-Posts

Columbia St to Lee St

What To Expect: New flex-posts locations are marked out with paint. Additional mark out is planned.

When: Work is expected to begin Tuesday, August 11th. This will continue as needed. Work is expected to take 4-5 total days and is dependent on weather and crew availability.

Impacts: Parking will be restricted during flex-post installation during the daytime. Rolling bike lane closures may be possible as well.

Ongoing: Bus Stop and Sidewalk Construction near Joan Lorentz Park

What to Expect: Daytime work taking up sidewalk space and some roadway space.

When: Construction is underway. Work is expected to last approximately 2-3 more weeks.

Impacts: Parking is restricted in places, mostly on the north side of Broadway. This work requires closure of the sidewalk next to Joan Lorentz Park during daytime hours. People walking are being detoured across Broadway or through Joan Lorentz Park.
