More On Mark!
Many Broadway members have said  to staff on Sunday mornings, "We wish we could hear the new minister preach."  Great news - you can!

Harvard Avenue Christian Church, where Mark currently serves as Senior Minister, posts audio recordings of their worship services.  These sound recordings include the sermon, plus some of the music from worship!  To listen to Mark's recent sermons, including Harvard's 60th Anniversary Sunday,    visit the HACC website.

Another great opportunity to hear Mark preach will occur on Tuesday, July 23, when Mark will preach at the Christian Church ()Disciples of Christ) General Assembly in Des Moines.  There will be live streaming video of General Assembly worship sessions, with evening worship beginning at 7:15 p.m. Visit the  General Assembly website and then click on the "Worship Streaming" tab!
Please keep the Brileys and the congregation of Harvard Avenue Christian Church in your prayers during this time of transition.  We are grateful for the path that has led Mark and his family to us at just the right time!  God is good, Broadway!
Coming Up...
Are the Tomatoes Here Yet??
Well, we are not sure, but it is getting to the point in the growing season when fresh tomatoes begin appearing on our Farmer's Market table in Fellowship Hall!  It would be worth a walk to Fellowship Hall this Sunday to find out!!
Broadway's bumper crop of home gardeners will surely have lots of fresh produce at the table this Sunday, and for the rest of growing season.  Just make your choice and then make a donation for your selection.  All money raised will support our offering to Church World Services through the Festival of Sharing.
Offering Envelopes Are In Church Mailboxes!
It is that time of year again!  Your 2019-2020 offering envelopes have been placed in your church mailbox. Please begin using your envelopes for your  July 7 offering. If you did not receive your envelopes, please contact Ingrid at 445.5312 or by  email. If you would like to use offering envelopes, but did not request a box, we have extra boxes in the church office.
