Broadway has long partnered with our denominational entity known as the Week of Compassion to reach needs near and far following natural disaster, working with refugee resettlement and developing sustainable living practices for people around the world. This year we collected $2,615.00 to give to these efforts! Broadway's generosity is alive and well.

New Worship Series Coming Next Sunday!
The number one solution people employ when a technological device isn’t working is to unplug the device and plug it back in. The simple reboot is often enough to reset the device and return to its intended function. There’s always a moment, however, when you wonder if the re-start will present a whole new look, a changed perspective, or a fully restored system. The pandemic forced the great unplugging of society. Everything stopped for a moment [a year!] and we’ve duct taped the wires together thus far to get through. We stand, however, on the brink of a great societal reboot. How will things look when the world fully re-opens? What will it mean for our jobs, our relationships, our spirit, the church? What does the world need now? With a new vision to follow Where Love Leads, Broadway is primed and eager to be an ever growing and strong presence in Columbia and beyond. To embody love in a complex world, generous hearts, minds and reach of the Broadway faithful will be needed more than ever. Will you invest in this whole new world with us? The future, in every facet, awaits our response.

Caregiver & Grief Support Group
Broadway's CareLink Ministry hosts a community-wide "Caregiver & Grief Support Group" on the first Monday of each month from noon - 1:15 pm. Although we usually meet in the BCC large conference room, we have been meeting by ZOOM for almost a whole year. If you are a caregiver of a family member or friend or if you have lost your loved one and would like to join other survivors, please contact Patsy Dalton, facilitator, at daltonsinc@aol.com or 573-356-6036. This understanding, loving group could be just what you need! Our next meeting is on April 5.

We finished up our Property Work Days this week and the grounds are looking beautiful! Fresh mulch, trimmed bushes and blooming flowers!

BCC provided 13 volunteers to help with the Mobile Food Pantry this past Tuesday!
Six MU students volunteered for two days at our Broadway community garden. They helped us remove the fence along the east end of the garden, set posts for the expansion of the garden and install the wire on the fence posts. They are a tremendous help to us in working toward completing our garden expansion.
