Does the sanctuary seem crowded on Sunday Morning?
Report of the Qualitative Review Team by Lynelle Phillips, Chair of the Qualitative Review Team
Join us in shaping the future of our church's worship experience. Under Pastor David's leadership, we're exploring new ways of worship and need your input. We invite you to participate in World Café discussions and share your thoughts and ideas. Your voice matters, and we believe that together, we can create a worship experience that is both meaningful and relevant to our community.
We will share a proposal for moving forward at the next BCC Board meeting on February 27th at 7 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend.
View the QRT’s PowerPoint presentation to the Board here.

Lenten Vespers and Kids' Yoga will be on Feb 21, 28, Mar 6, 13, and 20 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
Join your church family for some mid-week rest and resilience. The ‘rest’ portion will occur in the Loft from 5:30 – 6 pm as we’re led in contemplative, guided prayer. The ‘resilience’ portion follows as we gather in Fellowship Hall for a shared meal, followed by a Broadway member’s testimony of how they experienced resiliency through adversity.
Our February 21 program will include Rest – Lectio Divina (prayerful reading of Scripture) and Resilience speaker Mike Merz.
Kids will stretch and grow at 5:30 pm in the cinema room. They are learning about rest and resilience through movement.

Special Thanks to Marcia Walker for her leadership of Seasoned Spirits
We extend a heartfelt welcome to Joyce Wood Harter, who has assumed the leadership role for Seasoned Spirits. Joyce's commitment to this ministry aligns seamlessly with our mission of fostering camaraderie, shared experiences, and a vibrant spirit among those aged 50 and over.
Seasoned Spirits started 2024 with a celebration of appreciation of the 20-plus years of leadership by Darlene Miles and the 5 years of leadership by Marcia Walker at the Feb. 12, 2024, Seasoned Spirits luncheon. We had a fun and lively discussion about love by David Shirey.
We look forward to the journey ahead and mark your calendars for March 11, 2024, our next Seasoned Spirits luncheon, where Austin View will present on Habitat for Humanity.

Each year in February, congregations across the United States and Canada collect a Special Offering for Week of Compassion. When you give to Week of Compassion, you can be confident that your gift makes a meaningful impact in the world. | |

[Jesus] looked up and saw rich people putting their gifts into the treasury; he also saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.
He said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them, for all of them have contributed out of their abundance,
but she, out of her poverty, has put in all she had to live on."
Luke 21: 1 - 4, NRSV
