Happy Holidays!


The Township of Brock Municipal Administration Office located at 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, will be closed from December 23 to January 1 for the Holiday Season


The office will reopen on January 2, 2025.

Blackwater Bridge Closure


As of December 10, 2024, Blackwater Bridge located on Concession 4 in Sunderland is closed due to safety concerns. The bridge will remain closed until rehabilitation construction is complete.

Good Doctors telemedicine clinic in Beaverton Now Open


The Good Doctors telemedicine clinic opened on December 2 and is available by appointment to residents.


The clinic will operate Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information and to book an appointment at Good Doctors telemedicine, please visit GoodDoctors.as.me/Beaverton or call 705-798-3439.

Attention Brock Snowbirds!!


Are you travelling this winter and planning to be away from home in the months of February and or April? Remember the first two installments of the 2025 property taxes will become due while you’re away.  Avoid any penalties by enrolling in our Pre-Authorized Payment Plan to withdraw your taxes on the due date automatically.

Thorah Concession 3, Beaverton


Ditches along this roadway pose potential danger due to excavation. Motorists should reduce speed and use extreme caution when driving in this area.


  • Thorah Concession #3 west to the Beaver River and
  • Thorah Concession Sideroad north approximately 675 metres



Contractor to start the week of the December 16, 2024 and the anticipated duration of work to be completed in 4-5 days. Proposed work will be done from inside of private property and no road closures will be necessary at this time. Trucks and heavy equipment may be on roadways and drivers should remain cautious.

Some of the support the Township can help community organizations with include promotional support, financial support and physical support like facility rentals, picnic tables and garbage receptacles. You can request support from the municipality by filling out the Special Event Application Form. 


Applications for funding raised at the 2024 the Charity Golf Tournament open on January 2, 2025


Community and Non-Profit Organizations are invited to submit an application for funding from the Charity Golf Tournament. Eligible programs have been expanded to include senior’s programs as well as youth programs. Winter is on its way and it’s time to get outdoors and explore many of the fun family activities that Brock Township has to offer! Beaverton has some of the oldest Ice Fishing operations on Lake Simcoe, but don’t forget your Ontario Outdoors Card, as it is a requirement to legally fish in Ontario. Enjoy a beautiful scenic walk on the trails of the Beaver River Wetland Conservation area in Blackwater, or visit a café while shopping downtown Sunderland, Cannington and/or Beaverton.
