Help Brock Shape our 2024 Budget!

Each year, the Township of Brock undergoes a rigorous process to create an annual budget that provides the services and programs residents depend on each day.

One important part of this process is to hear from you, our community and learn more about the programs and services that matter most. What programs, services and infrastructure investments would you prioritize during this budget?

The answers you provide in this survey will help inform Township staff and Brock Council on the budget priorities that are important to you. They will also be considered as part of the development of the 2024 Budget.

Please take our short survey or email us at [email protected] and help us shape the 2024 Budget!

Learn how you can support Durham Region’s non-profit sector

Durham Region’s non-profit sector involves community agencies that provide important programs and services that support key issues impacting our community.

These agencies are experiencing declining donations following the pandemic and a volunteer shortage at a time when the demand for their services is increasing. Ongoing support can be provided to local non-profit agencies through donations of money or goods, volunteering time and expertise, and encouraging others to do the same. To learn how you can support, visit durham.ca/non-profits

Durham Greener Homes Program

Durham Region has continued to add new rebates to the Durham Greener Homes program to further help Durham residents achieve energy-efficient homes and reduce their carbon footprints. A Durham Heat Pump Rebate, offering up to $2,000 for heat pumps, has recently been launched to this effect.

Additional Deep Retrofit Rebates provide participating residents with up to $10,000 in incentives for reducing their home’s greenhouse gas emissions. These rebates may be combined with other incentives from Enbridge Gas and the Government of Canada, including the Home Efficiency Rebate Plus program.

When combined, upwards of $20,000 in cash rebates are available to Durham residents.
