We know this week will be busy as you work to get your clients enrolled in the best plan for their needs before the Annual Enrollment Period ends. Please make sure all applications are received by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 7 to guarantee a Jan. 1 effective date.

Special enrollment period for disrupted New Hampshire residents 

Do you have clients who lost their current Medicare Advantage plan and still need coverage for Jan. 1, 2025? Don’t forget that these members will have a special enrollment period that starts Dec. 8 and runs through the end of February. These members can also still enroll through Dec. 31 for a Jan. 1 effective date. 

AEP sales commission payout 

We know you’re excited to receive your AEP sales commissions. You should start receiving your AEP commissions by the end of January and beginning of February. Please reach out with any questions. 

Medicare Advantage new member welcome materials 

New members should receive their enrollment confirmation letter within seven to 10 days after their enrollment is confirmed with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Members whose coverage is effective Jan. 1, 2025, will receive new member materials, including their member ID card and quick start guide, the week of Dec. 9. Moving forward, new members can expect to receive their welcome materials seven to 10 days after enrollment.

ACA Plans

WellSense Clarity plans – Open Enrollment

Enrollment for our WellSense Clarity plans is off to a great start. As we round the corner toward the Dec. 15 deadline for Jan. 1, 2025, coverage, we want to share the following with you:

1. We are proud to offer the lowest-cost bronze and silver plans in the service area (Belknap, Strafford, Merrimack, Hillsborough and Rockingham counties).
2. Currently our top-selling plan is the WellSense Clarity NH Bronze 7500.
3. We pay competitive commissions on a per member per month (PMPM) basis of $23.
4. Individuals already enrolled in a plan should receive their member ID cards in the mail this week. Moving forward, new members can expect to receive their member ID cards seven to 10 days after enrollment.
