Member tips when utilizing Northeast Delta Dental benefits

All WellSense Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans include a dental benefit with Northeast Delta Dental. To ensure members have the best experience using their dental benefit, we’ve outlined a few tips for them to follow.

• Let members know to advise the dental office about their WellSense Medicare Advantage coverage through Northeast Delta Dental.

• Remind members to show their WellSense Medicare Advantage card when they arrive at their appointment.

• Providers are encouraged to contact Northeast Delta Dental directly at 800-832-5700 with any inquiries regarding member coverage. This number is also listed on the back of the member's ID card.

Upcoming Compliance Review 

Staying compliant is more important than ever, especially with the increase in sales and marketing regulations in recent years. The WellSense Sales Oversight team provides compliance support to sales agents and brokers throughout the year, as well as conducts routine monitoring to confirm compliance with current regulations. As part of this monitoring, our team will be conducting a review of Annual Enrollment Period sales.
