Some Medicare Advantage members may not have received their ID cards yet
During a quality control review, we discovered 1,054 of our new Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO members were not sent to our fulfillment center to trigger new member welcome kits, which include a member’s identification (ID) card. This occurred when an automatic data transmission to our vendor was stopped to manually update, causing some member data to accidentally be removed. We have already updated our internal review processes to ensure this does not happen again. We have asked our fulfillment partner to expedite this mailing, but impacted members should receive their kits and ID cards by Jan. 8, 2025, at the latest.
If a member needs to access care or get their prescriptions filled prior to their ID card coming in the mail, they can find that information in a few places.

Enrollment confirmation letter – this letter includes their member ID number and pharmacy details (RxGroup: WLSMDD, RxBin: 610014, RxPCN: MEDDPRIME)

B360 – check in your book of business for the member’s ID number

Member portal – members will need their ID card number to create their new account, but once they sign up, they can view their information in the member portal at wellsense.org/login
