Greetings Bronco Family,

Welcome to the start of a new year! We hope this is the beginning of a prosperous year for you and your families. We are excited for all that this year will bring including change, growth, and transition for the Bronco Family program. We are glad to have you along for the journey and look forward to engaging with you all this year. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to all things CPP. Bronco Family Chat: February 20th at 12pm

Join us and get to know the Bronco Parent and Family team at our first Family Chat of the year! We'll be live on Zoom on Tuesday, February 20th from 12pm - 1pm PST and are looking forward to saying hello to all of you.

There is no RSVP necessary for this session. All you need to do is click here and be ready for some friendly conversation. Please feel free to bring your coffee or lunch and join us online anytime during that hour.

CPP's Scholarship Fest

Scholarship Fest is happening now, and this year Cal Poly Pomona is awarding MILLIONS of dollars!

Once your student fills out the general application, they will automatically be matched up with new scholarships as they open leading up to the March 2nd deadline.

Student Employment Opportunity

The Office of New Student Programs and Family Engagement is now hiring Orientation Leaders for the summer! If your student is interested in developing in their professional and leadership skills, encourage them to apply today.

Orientation leaders will receive training and development opportunities, summer housing, meals on orientation days, and hourly pay.

Applications will be accepted until March 6, 2023 via Handshake.

Meet Our Bronco Family Ambassadors!

Many of our Bronco Family Ambassadors recently came to campus and geared up for all that this year has in store. Ambassadors will serve in a volunteer capacity to support our programs, advise future programmatic efforts of CPP Bronco Family programs, and serve as a the face of Bronco Family Engagement! Please help us welcome our Ambassadors and learn more here.

Applications will reopen in Fall of 2023.

Important Dates and Deadlines

February 4th-17th: Withdrawal Period. This is your student's opportunity to withdraw from classes online and still receive a "W" on their transcript.

February 20th: Bronco Family Chat. Join us for an informal virtual chat and an opportunity to be in community with fellow Bronco Families.

March 17th: Spring Graduation Deadline. Students who plan to graduate in Spring of 2023 must apply for graduation by this deadline.

Through March 2: Priority Filing period opens for 2022-23 FAFSA and CA Dream Act applications. March 2 seems like a long time away, but we recommend having your students do this now so they don't forget. Have your students take the time to do this now so they don't forget. If your student wants to be considered for financial aid (grants, scholarships, work study and loans) at CPP in 2023-24, they’ll need to fill out one of the financial aid applications. They can fill out the FAFSA HERE or the CA Dream Act HERE. Scholarship fest will run until March 2nd in alignment with the FAFSA filling period.

March 25th-31st: Spring Break.
